Dan Miller

Dan has enjoyed various roles in in the church over the years, at congregational and conference levels. “Transition” describes his years in ministry, being between what has been and what is coming. Dan is the son of a pastor/social worker father and an elementary school teacher mother. He’s been married to Nadine for their entire marriage. Dan is an introvert who enjoys connecting with people. He emphasizes listening as an important leadership practice. Dan is a fan of science fiction because science fiction is forward-looking and is often the first place to imagine new technologies. As a follower of the resurrected Christ, Dan seeks (and does not always succeed) to live from a place of grace and challenge. In addition to the spiritual practices of prayer, fasting and generosity, he supports the spiritual practice of celebration. “The church should be finding reasons to have a party!”
