At Child's World Preschool, our mission is to provide an affordable, hands-on, play-based preschool centered around God’s unconditional love for children! Child’s World Preschool is a place where we can pair academic education with Christian values and help shape the whole child by teaching them kindness, humility, patience and service. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming, engaging and educational for all children.

Mrs. Gretchen King has taught at Child’s World Preschool since 2017. She is a graduate of Wauseon High School, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bluffton University. Prior experience includes teaching preschool special ed in Defiance, 3rd grade Title I Reading & Math at Defiance Elementary, and a paraprofessional at Archbold Elementary.
Mrs. Weaver has been teaching at CWP since 2020. She has a degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Bluffton University, and previously taught preschool as an intervention specialist for the NWOESC.
Mrs. Joilyn Waidelich has been teaching at CWP since 2023. Mrs. Waidelich will serve as assistant teacher for the PM Pre-Kinder class and the Preschool class. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education from Eastern Mennonite University, and her previous experience includes teaching 2nd & 3rd grade at Hopi Mission School in Arizona and preschool special education thru the NWOESC in Montpelier.
